Garden Therapy and Education
involve programs to help people in assisted living, memory care and Hospice care, e.g. wreath making, floral designs, and, where appropriate, some outdoor planting.
involves programs at some local elementary schools and Redeemer Pre-School, e.g. bulb planting posy-making. We also work with children from the nearby mobile home park in a joint program with "Homework Helpers". Senior youngsters help with the homework and we follow up with gardening projects which hopefully spikes their interest.
SALISBURY GARDEN CLUB
involves clean-up and planting at the local Post Office and Fire Station. There is an annual daffodil-planting project at various local sites and the creation of a pollinator garden beside a children's playground. The entrances to Salisbury Sub-Division are decorated each Christmas.
